Wedding season is in full swing! If you find your social calendars filled with weddings this summer and fall, consider spending an extra moment to think about what you’ll give the newlyweds. Modern etiquette says purchasing from the couples’ registry is always an acceptable option, as is giving money. We’re here to share a few simple and creative ideas that you may not have considered before.

It’s best to pick an experience that doesn’t require you to choose a date or time, just in case they cannot make that time (or book one that has a flexible return/reschedule process).

If you’re close to the couple and know their honeymoon plan details, contact their hotel and send a surprise bottle of champagne to their room upon their arrival or during their stay. It’s one of those gifts that feels special, high-end and thoughtful.
