As we begin to gather again this summer, we are reminded of just how important community — and being together — really is. It’s core to our human spirit. It’s essential to our goals as a company. Whether in-person or though social media, we are excited to gather together for many years into the future.
This week, we are celebrating our community of 1,000+ Instagram followers. Hitting this milestone has allowed us a moment to pause and express gratitude to every one of you who has followed our journey. Thank you for being a customer, friend or collaborator. We truly appreciate each and every one of you.
To celebrate this moment, we have partnered with one of our earliest collaborators and friends, Lauren + Ross, the duo behind Off Path Photography, to offer an incredible “date night” giveaway! You can enter on Instagram starting June 1 and the winner will be announced on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

- Lead you toward better relationships with your partners, yourselves, and the people you love — in every season of life
3 Things We’ve Learned About Growing Community
It’s easy to get caught up in comparison traps and numbers games. One core value I’ve read about time and time again from business leaders is patience. Many of the influential people or brands you know and love have worked years behind the scenes. What you are seeing now are the rewards of their patience and persistence — two things we are learning to value every day. What you see online is almost never the full story, and it’s important to remember the hard work people put in that we’ll never hear about.
I’ve heard persistence defined as “showing up even when you’re not energized by the work.” As creative people and/or founders, we sometimes have the expectation that we should be jazzed about what we are doing at all times. I’ll let you in on a little secret — even if the work is creative, it doesn’t always fill your cup that day. Persistence is showing up day after day, taking the small steps that don’t feel like much now, but add up to real milage in the long run. It’s only really visible in hindsight. At Season, we set monthly goals, and it’s always rewarding to review how much we achieved at the end of the month. I’d like to give a shout out to my team, Tara and Lauren, who exemplify persistence even in the sometimes thankless work that comes with the territory of building a young brand.
Tara here, jumping in to talk about how much we have loved partnering with wedding + event extraordinaires, incredible influencers, and so many other outstanding, talented, and creative humans in the last year. I’m confident that there’s no way we could have made it to 1,000 followers as quickly as we did without the guest blogs, giveaways, sponsored posts, and story takeovers accomplished along the way. From wedding planners, photographers, and venue owners to bridal coaches, dress shops, officiants, and even mobile bar owners, the relationships we’ve built along the way have transformed our company from a single brand to an entire community.
We are so thankful for each and every collaboration we’ve been able to see through during our journey so far. Working with so many incredible vendors and professionals to create magical, beautiful things has truly been the most satisfying part of my job. Whether you’ve written for our blog, taken over our Instagram story, joined our community of Season Pass vendors, gifted The Engagement Journal to someone you love, partnered with us for a giveaway, invited us to an open house or pop up shop, shared your engagement photos and stories, attended a launch party or happy hour, created a product with us, or even just shared our content, we are beyond grateful. Thank you for a wonderful year of partnerships and collaborations. We’re looking forward to many, many more.
