“This season has taught me the importance of slowing down and it’s been a great way to grow into myself.”
Name & Position at Season
Lauren Pennington / Social Media Coordinator
Where are you attending school and what are you studying?
I’m currently studying Communications and New Media Technology with a minor in Studio Art at The Ohio State University.
What is your day to day like at Season?
My day to day is really fun at Season! Even though we are all virtual, it’s been really cool to connect with Annette on projects and brainstorm ideas. I’m definitely learning a lot in the world of social media. Each day I get the opportunity to connect with Season’s followers and create content for them.
What is one thing you hope to learn in the coming year?
I hope to learn more about time management and meditation. This season has taught me the importance of slowing down and it’s been a great way to grow into myself. I also would love to learn more about the world of design.
What season of life are you finding yourself in at the moment?
This season is definitely very different due to the current circumstances of the world, but I’m learning a lot more about myself. I’m finding that even though I’m young that I still have a voice that matters. The two things I’ve been growing in this season have been confidence and courage.
What is your favorite thing to do in the summer?
Definitely kayaking and hiking! I also enjoy spending time with close friends.
Any new quarantine hobbies?
I learned some new vegan recipes that I’ve been loving this summer! Pinterest was a lifesaver.
What’s your wedding style? Boho, modern, classic … etc?
I would say my wedding style is a mix between modern and boho. I love outdoor weddings with modern accents.
What do you like to do to slow down and be in the moment?
When I slow down I typically like to listen to music and go for a drive or just sit outside and read a good book. I’m currently reading None like Him by Jen Wilkin.
What’s your favorite way to document important moments in your life?
I’m really passionate about photography so I like to bring my camera everywhere I go. My friends and I like to take pictures when we go explore or do something fun. It’s great to look back on memories that way.
