On Holistic Wellness

August is National Wellness Month, and as we near its end, I wanted to take a moment to think about how we can nurture our wellness as we transition into a new month.

With schedules shifting and structure of school days returning for some, it can actually be the perfect time to explore a new routine that supports your well-being. I’d love to share two resources that can help set you on the right path: our Wellness Wheel Printable PDF and Seasonal Reset Workbook.

I use the Wellness Wheel multiple times a year to get a visual picture of my holistic wellness. It’s a self-assessment covering eight areas of wellness. It takes five minutes to complete and gives you clarity.

The Seasonal Reset Workbook has been a favorite among customers this summer, and I think this transitional time of year is the perfect moment to try it for yourself. Discover and name the season you’re in, explore what you need, and make a plan for moving forward in alignment. Give yourself the gift of completing this one. I’d love to hear how it goes for you.

Be well,

What’s an activity I enjoy that also supports an area of my health and well-being?

Am I actively pursing this in my life right now? If not, what’s coming between me and the activity?

What assumptions am I making, or what stories am I telling myself, about my wellness?

What do I consider to be the hardest part in taking care of my well-being?

Who can I ask to support me on my path toward greater wellness?

Say It

Affirmations

I am creating a life that supports my well-being.

Action Ideas

Add one thing to your routine this week that supports your well-being.

With new schedules appearing virtually overnight for those navigating a return to school, it’s easy to fall back into an old morning routine.

But did that routine include anything that supported you and your well-being? Or were you getting through the morning in fight-or-flight mode?

➡️ Make a list of three ways you can make your morning routine work better for your wellness.

How can you be proactive, rather than reactive, in those first hours of the day — or even the night before?

➡️ Take one action step tomorrow and try it out. If it feels good, try it again the next day.
