Romanticizing your life is a way to infuse more meaning into the ordinary, create rituals out of routines, and embrace the present moment. How can we elevate the everyday? 
 
First, we can start to shift our mindset. As Albert Einstein once suggested, we can choose to see everything as a miracle. Gratitude journaling is a great way to begin to notice the good around you in daily moments. 
 
From there, we can add our own creative touch. Small adjustments can transform a routine into something you look forward to — playing music while you cook, listening to a thoughtful podcast on a walk, inviting your kids to sing along while you tidy up. Light a candle, change the lighting, wear something that makes you feel like you, or slow your pace to savor what’s in front of you.
 
Taking tasks from ordinary to extraordinary just takes a little creativity, beauty, fun, and playfulness. I hope you’ll try it this week!

Music is the universal language. And it’s truly incredible how it can affect the tone of any situation. This week, when you find yourself simply going through the motions, try adding a personal soundtrack. Maybe it’s during work, while you’re cooking, giving the kids a bath, or on your commute. See the power it has to change the mood, and in turn, change your mood!
