Spring has become one of my favorite seasons. All the transformations happening in nature are a vibrant reminder that growth is happening all around us.
I think spring is the perfect time to learn and grow because we get another burst of that new year excitement — this time, with more daylight hours, energy, and motivation. Some people like to think of spring as the true start of their year. Perhaps we can adopt that idea this week as we look at what growth means for us.
The growth mindset is one that tells us with effort and persistence, we can learn, grow, achieve our goals, and actualize our visions. It’s about taking ownership. It’s about putting in the work, and not relying on talent or luck. It can feel uncomfortable, but progress can be made over time. Think progress over perfection. Be curious when you run into challenges. Practice positive self-talk. And build that resilience muscle. These are key traits of the growth mindset.
I know you’ll accomplish great things this season.
Be well,

Complete a Weekly Review
Goals and growth fall by the wayside because we wait a month or more before we step back to notice what’s happening in our lives. Incorporating a weekly review gives us a quicker feedback loop of information that helps us make better decisions and move towards our goals and growth...before another month has passed by.
Write these three things on Sunday or before you start the new week:
1. What’s working
2. What I’m learning
3. What I’m celebrating
We ask these questions on our Everyday Growth Weekly Planner. It gives us permission to celebrate small wins and write lessons learned. Information is power! Try it this week!
